One of the sunniest skiing resorts in Austria

In addition to the Acherkogel and Ochsengarten cable cars, 13 other facilities take winter sports enthusiasts across the skiing resort without long waits.
Guests can look forward to particularly sunny skiing holidays in Hochoetz. With an average of 64 sunny days per season, it is one of the 5 sunniest skiing resorts in Austria.
The ski mountain scores with its manageability and challenging descents, family pistes, permanent race-track, the Skiline altitude diagram, the two viewpoints Zugspitzblick and Rotes Wandl, and the practice area for little guests.

Mascot WIDI can be found in several places at once: in WIDI's MOVIESHUTTLE, a 5D multimedia cinema with 10 seats that offers special effects for all senses, in WIDI's Funpark, where young freestylers gather, at WIDI's Ralley, the Pistentipp Parcours, and the Wildlife trail.

Thanks to the construction of the new connecting slope from the Balbach area to Ochsengarten, another black run is now available for winter sports enthusiasts. As of the winter of 2021, there will be also a new attraction for families with small children at the WIDIVERSUM - WIDIs play and slide park offers a welcome change for little ones!

Brunnenkopf 2,200m

The most characteristic peak in the Hochoetz skiing region is the 2,200-metre-high Brunnenkopf. The popu-lar descent no. 2 bears its name and offers a particularly beautiful mountain panorama. Skiing here is a great experience for the whole family.
